Tutus for Tots is an introduction to dance using creative movement and very basic ballet steps and terminology. Through movement games and activities children ages 3-4 years will learn and practice spatial awareness, rhythm, balance and coordination.
Bring your attitude to these creative movement jazz classes which invite children 3-4 years to dance through the use of fun music, rhythm games, and storytelling. Scarves, bean bags, hula hoops, and fans are used to enhance the child’s exploration of shape, level, and the dynamics of movement.

Little tappers will begin to learn the basics of tap with a focus on rhythm, syncopation, and patterns. Taplettes will play games to help them learn new patterns and steps.
Intro to Jazz is an upbeat class that introduces basic jazz technique, rhythm, and choreography. With upbeat music, dancers will start to learn about the differences between jazz and ballet, the styles of jazz, and performance skills.
Pre-Ballet is an introductory ballet class that introduces the positions of the feet, port de bras, basic ballet steps, French vocabulary, class etiquette, barre work, center work, and choreography. Through games, creative movement, and imagery, the foundation for ballet technique will begin to blossom for young dancers.
