The Golden Key Festival was established in 2002 by Dr. George Borisov. The Festival is held yearly in historic performance venues in different key world cities such as Vienna, Paris, and New York City. The purpose of the festival “is to give young musicians the opportunity to display their talents on some of the most prestigious concert stages in the United States, to unlock for them the door into the magic world of art—a realm where almost everyone who steps on the stage is gratified with an incomparable feeling of self-affirmation.”
Students who excelled in audition amongst a field of over 800 students nationwide, earned the honor of performing at Carnegie Hall. This season, the Academy is honored to announce that each Academy student who auditioned received gold and silver medal status.
Academy students are thrilled by the chance of a lifetime to perform at a special honors concert May 24th at Carnegie Hall. The concert will include gold medal winners from throughout the United States in addition to professional classical performers from Vienna.
